FILE 01 — WHAT THIS IS

BUILT FORFREIGHTFORWARDERS.

And the CHAs, transporters and yards they work with. Ahjam Cargo puts one consignment on one file — shipping documents, customs filing, delivery and empty container return — so every party is looking at the same record.

20 minutes, walked through on your own consignments. No obligation, no sales deck.

FILE 02 — THE CONSIGNMENT

FROM BOOKING
TO empty RETURN.

Hands signing a consignment docket on a tablet at the tail of a trailer
  1. 01

    BOOK

The consignment opens once. Shipper, line, CHA, transporter and yard all attach to the same file — not to five chat threads.

  2. 02

    DOCS

Bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list. Each consignment type carries its own checklist, and a missing paper is visible before it becomes a delay.

  3. 03

    CUSTOMS

Filing status sits on the consignment, not in somebody's inbox. Cleared, queried or held — the desk sees which, and when it changed.

  4. 04

    MOVE

Every leg is logged against the consignment — gate-in, gate-out, halt, detention — with times you can point at later.

  5. 05

    DELIVER

Proof of delivery lands on the record at the last mile. Findable in six months, not just tonight.

  6. 06

    EMPTY RETURN

The empty container goes back and the file closes. Detention stops counting on a date, not on a guess.

None of this is a new idea. It is the same six handoffs your desk already runs, across parties you do not employ. The difference is that afterwards you can show exactly what happened, and when.

FILE 03 — WHAT RUNS ON IT

THREE KINDS
OF move.

EXIM

Import and export consignments end to end — documents, customs filing, port and ICD movement, and the charges each one picks up along the way.

LAST MILE

The leg that decides whether the customer is happy. Vehicle, driver, ETA and POD on the same record as the paperwork that got it there.

EMPTY CONTAINER

Return moves tracked as first-class work, not an afterthought. Detention and demurrage counted while there is still time to avoid them.

FILE 04 — TRACKING

CHECKED AGAINST
ULIP AND VAHAN.

Onboarding a transporter's vehicle is not a form to fill in. Ahjam queries ULIP and VAHAN for the registration, permit, fitness certificate and insurance, and keeps checking after the paperwork is signed. Containers carry the same history — booking, gate moves, and the detention clock that starts the day they land.

So when a customer asks where their container is, the answer is on the screen — not assembled by phoning three parties.

FILE 05 — WHY IT HOLDS

ONE RECORD.
EVERY PARTY.
NO RE-KEYING.

EVERY PARTY, ONE VIEW

Shipper, CHA, transporter, yard and accounts work off the same consignment, each seeing the fields their desk needs.

NOTHING RETYPED

The invoice is assembled from the consignment itself. Nobody copies a number out of a chat thread at 11pm.

AUDIT BY DEFAULT

Who changed the rate, when, and what it was before. A field on the record, not a favour someone does you.

FILE 06 — BILLING

THE CONSIGNMENT
WRITES THE
INVOICE.

Advances, detention, demurrage, rate breaches and every completed leg roll into one document. Export it, send it, and chase it once instead of four times.

FILE 07 — IN PRODUCTION

Not a prototype. A live operation runs on it.

An Indian container transport operator runs its daily work on Ahjam Cargo — vehicles verified against ULIP and VAHAN, work orders and container movements tracked, and GST invoices raised off the completed record. The morning operations digest lands in their inbox every day.
